This policy describes information handled when you browse this site or place an order. Inboard Marine Design's business contact and retention details must be completed before launch.
Information collected for orders
When you start checkout, this site collects your name, email address, and delivery address to create a Stripe Checkout session. The address is stored on a Stripe Customer record and, after a successful payment, the order information is recorded in the business's PostgreSQL order database for order processing. Stripe processes payment details on its hosted checkout page; this site does not receive or store complete card numbers.
Contact
This website does not collect contact messages. If you choose to email Inboard Marine Design, your email provider and the recipient's email provider will process that message under their own privacy terms.
Website hosting and external images
The hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver the site. Some photography is loaded from Unsplash and Pexels, which receive ordinary browser requests when those images are displayed.
How information is used
Order details are used to confirm payment, prepare and fulfill orders, provide support, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact submissions are used to respond to inquiries.
